Initial Assessment
It all begins with an initial assessment performed between your child and a qualified licensed teacher. This assessment measures phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, and comprehension. Within three days a detailed report explaining what your child is struggling with and a plan on how to help your child. Then you have two choices. Work with your child on your own using our instructed resources. Two enroll your child online twice a week. or three do nothing!
Membership Resources
Inside the membership of resources you have access to 24 hours a day 7 days a week. These pdf’s and video resources are to help you guide your child to become a better confident reader following the plan provided you. After working with your child for six weeks you are welcome to request another assessment to reevaluate their direction. The reevaluation fee is $49.00. Note the reevaluation is optional.
Online Instruction Twice a Week
The Online instruction is a more intensive option to get your child reading more accurately and confidently faster. Each class is taught with teachers trained in the Science of Reading which is a step by step approach to teaching students to read. Know that there are adult classes. If in the initial assessment we are concerned about dyslexia or other learning disorders we have an online Orton Gillingham course also taught by trained teachers.
